Benefits of Ninja

Ninja is the new and exciting children’s fitness craze.  From power to proprioception, kinesthetic awareness, agility, and speed this sport is like no other. Some of the benefits are for the mind: perseverance, discipline, confidence, attention to detail, and the ability to focus. This amazing sport works on your child’s strength and fitness levels and creates a fun fitness environment. Our instructors are CPR, AED & 1st aide certified, they have been hand-selected and trained to safely bring out the best in each child by encouraging them to exceed their perceived limitations.

What should my child wear?

Children and adults should wear athletic clothing with clean bottom sneakers. Hair should be pulled back for safety, as long hair interferes with rolling, somersaulting, and twisting skills. Please, no gum or jewelry in the gym.

FGA Ninja Program

Our curriculum is based on………of experience teaching ninja to children.

Our curriculum is designed to provide a non-competitive, achievement-oriented program of life skills, and strength. Your child will be introduced to learning and developing skills on our ridge and floor obstacles.

As part of the program, students have the opportunity to participate in our end-of-the-year Expo program. This is designed to show off their progressions and skills learned throughout the year.

The curriculum is carefully designed for exactly what children need most during these formative years.

Ninja skills are used as tools to teach learning attitudes, while skill mastery is a second goal. At Farmingdale Ninja we keep first things first…Children! NOTHING IS AS IMPORTANT AS A CHILD’S SELF-ESTEEM! Children gain a broader understanding of the basics of ninja.

While continuing to build their coordination, agility, strength, and most importantly, their confidence! We feel a healthy learning attitude is far more important than mastery of specific skills. At Farmingdale Gymnastics & Ninja, we recognize each child’s talent and ability and understand that each child will progress and advance individually.
